Om Sweet Om is a wellness studio offering yoga, reflexology, and workshops. The studio’s founder was managing her website and operations manually—creating flyers by hand and responding to class inquiries over email. She needed a more professional, low-maintenance website to grow her offerings while keeping the business aligned with her lifestyle and values.

Project Goals
• Redesign the website with a clean, cohesive visual identity
• Streamline event registration and class capacity management
• Automate reminder emails and enable online payments
• Support a low-tech, mobile-friendly setup
• Reduce time spent on admin and increase conversions from email inquiries

My Approach
1. Discovery
• Conducted a competitive analysis of similar wellness brands and coaching platforms
• Analyzed the current Wix site for inconsistencies in layout, typography, and accessibility
• Identified pain points in the owner's manual workflows

2. Brand Strategy & Design Foundations
• Guided the owner through a brand questionnaire to clarify her mission, values, and audience
• Used insights to inform font and color choices aligned with her purpose and aesthetic
• Created wireframes with a simplified layout that reduced clutter and emphasized call-to-actions

3. Design & Development
• Explored calming, readable typefaces and an earthy color palette to reflect her grounded brand
• Built a responsive, accessible website in Wix with integrated:
› Online workshop registration
› Automated capacity limits and reminder emails

› Checkout for seamless online payments
• Developed a style guide so the owner could confidently update the site herself

Impact
The owner no longer spends hours managing class logistics by hand. The site gives her a professional digital home that’s easy to maintain and grow from. It also opens new opportunities for reaching audiences beyond Ashland while preserving her preference for simple, grounded tech solutions.
